The Steese Review

The Steese Review has taken up most of my time in the past month ... and it looks like it will occupy my interest for the forseeable future. I am having too much fun with it not to pursue it as fully as I can.

Which means ... I will most likely ... (really indefinite here) ... settle into maybe a posting once a month or so here for a time.

But there are issues that are compelling ... about which I would like to express my thoughts and opinions ... like the absurdity of the Invisible Hand in a free market ... as if there ever was such a thing as a "free" market. Or the concept now being advanced by the Conservatives that abortion should have been fought out in the political process rather than in the judicial process, as if building a majority was all of a sudden the proof of superiority, i.e., the blessing of God, now that they think of themselves as the majority.

What happened to their long history of fighting for religious freedom for non-dominant views?

Which brings us to the absurdity of defining democracy as synonymous with "voting rights" WITHOUT reference to any foundation in inalienable human rights.

I think sexual frustration drives people mad. If the Conservatives would just have a good orgasm frequently enough, we wouldn't have to put up with their annal views.

Anyhow, I'd like to pop in here once and awhile and spout off.

Looks like it settling into once a month or so.
